About the Position

We are looking for Production Assistants to assist in the day-to-day multimedia operations. In this role, you will facilitate the production as well as creation of audio/video content that is distributed across multiple platforms.

This is a part-time based in Santa Clara, CA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers to accomplish multimedia goals – both for in-house and content production
  • Assist the production team in the setup/breakdown of studios and other various duties
  • Facilitate (record, edit and distribute) various shoots throughout the year
  • Work closely with the Lead Videographer and Senior Editor in content creation and the Motion Graphic team to create engaging content for web, social and digital
  • Assist Media Management in the loading, logging and organization of all video and photos
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Experience & Skills

  • Knowledge of Avid, Premiere or Final Cut workflows and editing
  • Understanding of Adobe Creative Suite including PhotoShop and AfterEffects a plus
  • Experience operating digital cinema cameras and video/audio equipment needed for shoots
  • Ability to work in a high pressure and fast-paced environment
  • Additional consideration for experience in motion graphics, animation, Audition or ProTools, Daktronics, etc.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to push/pull/carry and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Maintain concentration and focus over long hours
  • Carry and operate heavy camera equipment and related gear for extended periods and long distances
We are seeking for an experienced and results-driven HR Administrator to support our Human Resources department. You will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners. Our ideal candidate has experience with HR procedures and can juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner.
Overview of Main Responsibilities:
  • Organize and maintain personnel records
  • Update internal databases
  • Prepare HR documents (ie. Employment contracts, new hire guides
  • Revise company policies
  • Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors, and ensure legal compliance
  • Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics
  • Answer employees queries about HR-related issues
  • Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules)
  • Participate in HR Projects
  • Lead recruitment initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Diploma in Human Resources or in any related field
  • Related HR Admin or related experience
  • CPHR Designation or working towards designation is an asset
  • Recruitment experience in a high volume and fast paced industry (agency experience is an asset)
  • Knowledge of USA payroll, labour, and employment laws
  • Related experience working in logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, and staffing/agency is an asset

Work Location and Schedule:
This is a hybrid role working 3 days out of our Santa Clara HQ with flexible hours
Must be flexible to travel to our various branch locations if needed.
As a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for all day-to-day operations of the California branch. You will need to have a strong operations background (a background in logistics or eCommerce is a huge asset) with experience in leading successful teams. You will also be the point of contact to some of our larger enterprise clients to ensure that their accounts are being looked after. Overall, you are someone who makes sound decisions, is extremely independent, reliable, client-focused, and values the importance of great culture in team building.
Responsibilities:
This position will report directly to the Director of Operations. This role will also work very closely with our customer service team and account executives.
  • Ensure day-to-day operations adhere to all of our processes and protocols (some tasks include, but not limited to: shipping and receiving, sorting, scanning, processing, organizing, loading/unloading, providing customer service to walk in clients).
  • Communicate with key individuals within the organization to ensure smooth operations and clients are happy (via phone, email, and internal communication tools).
  • Oversee some of our enterprise accounts to ensure our clients are taken care of.
  • Provide coaching and valuable feedback to direct reports (warehouse team members, drivers, etc).
  • Set an example to the team by providing excellent customer service.
  • Ensure the team is adhering to all safety requirements.
  • Perform some administrative duties such as border documentation.
  • Promotes our company’s culture and values within the team.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in an Operations Leadership role of a branch or facility (Logistics experience preferred). This is great to have but not mandatory, we can train the right person!
  • Must be available to work 11 am-7 pm Monday to Fridays and 12 pm-3 pm on Sundays as needed.
  • Willing to accept full responsibility and accountability of all branch operations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build trusting and supportive relationships with team members.
  • Must be trustworthy and reliable (it’s you running the show!).
  • Able to stand for long periods of time and be physically fit to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Can multitask in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Decisive, assertive, and strong communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Must be proactive and be comfortable helping out in all aspects of the operations when necessary.
We are looking for a Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join our growing team. Reporting directly to the Customer Experience Manager of Areto Inc., this role will be responsible for managing counts, onboarding new clients, and maintaining the highest standards when it comes to client service.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage current and new client accounts.
  • Responsible for handling all calls and email inquiries from the EU, UAE and Middle Eastern clients.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with enterprise clients to ensure satisfaction.
  • Assist clients with shipping and system-related issues and escalations.
  • Work closely with our sales and operations teams to onboard new clients.
  • Build and maintain trusting relationships with clients.
Skill Set:
  • Entry-level customer service experience
  • Intermediate/Advanced written and verbal knowledge in French/German/Arabic and English.
  • Experience in E-Commerce marketing, supply chain or the logistics industry would be an asset.
  • Self-driven, excellent communication and negotiation skills, with an ability to build trusting relationships with clients.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
